Goettsch Partners has been active in China for 16 years, gradually building a reputation for high design quality, deep technical expertise, and attentive personal service. Today, the firm operates a Shanghai office and has projects totaling more than 19 million square feet—either completed or in-progress—in numerous Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Anting, Nanchang, Xi’an  and Kunshan etc.

The firm brings a strong understanding of local building codes and solid working relationships with many of the Chinese design institutes. The firm’s Enclosures Group frequently lends their expertise on the design of building enclosure systems and, specifically, curtain walls. Metric drawing sets are produced in both English and Mandarin to assist in communication.
