Goettsch Partners Designs Nashville’s Tallest High-Rise, Paramount

Goettsch Partners (GP) has been selected as the architect for Nashville’s latest and tallest high-rise, a 65-story luxury residential tower called Paramount. Located prominently across from the Nashville Main Library, the new 750-foot-tall skyscraper, developed by Giarratana LLC, will transform the skyline.  

Set on a parcel of approximately 12,000 square feet on Nashville’s Church Street between Anne Dallas Dudley Boulevard and 6th Avenue, the new building will rise near another tower developed recently by Giarratana called 505, located at Fifth Avenue and Church. 505 is currently the city’s second tallest building at 524 feet, behind the AT&T Tower—known locally as the “Bat Building”—which reaches 613 feet above downtown Nashville.

The Nashville project announcement comes on the heels of GP completing prominent new towers in San Francisco, Chicago, Abu Dhabi, and Bogotá, Colombia. Construction has started on the firm’s new Changchun CR Center and a supertall now topping out in Nanning, both in China. In the United States, the firm is expanding its work for developers active in multifamily and mixed-use projects, as well as large-scale office and hospitality works.
